You can’t prevent Dementia

When I’m going through my DM on social media, one of the top five questions I’m asked is, “Ty, are you scared of being diagnosed with Dementia?”Unfortunately, you can’t prevent Dementia, but you can reduce your risk. The bottom line is that outside of things I CAN control; some risk facts are impossible to change. I can’t live in fear and anxiety about what my future holds. I’m focused on today! I would encourage you to think about things that you can control today. Live in the moment and don’t create scenarios and what if situations that will cause you to become anxious.

Here are things you can control to reduce your risk

💡Eat a healthy and balanced diet

💡Work out

💡Make sure your blood pressure is normal

💡Limit alcohol intake

💡Watch your weight

Honestly, after years of research; scientists are still dumbfounded about this disease. The best thing you can do instead of worrying is, live right, take care of yourself, and pray over your mind. 💜
